![]() ![]() It can definitely help someone who has very little experiences with art create some really nice projects with a little time, effort and determination. Some really neat features in this program. If you are looking for something digital as a complete beginner I would suggest Mischief [Marmoset Hexels 2 will definitely help you learn certain art and eventhough I have only used it for one day as part of a 14 day trial I can already recommend it to anyone slightly interested in digital art. I'm not saying you cant just use a digital medium its just that I believe you will learn so much faster with pencil and paper. I find drawing digitally a little slippery if I leave it too long between using both methods. Which is why I make a mental effort to regularly swap between both methods as to not have to lose the muscle memory involved, saving me time to re-adjust to each method. This will help you develop good muscle memory.įrom my experience changing back and fore between traditional and digital is quite difficult if you leave the timeframe between using both methods too long. I would suggest going to your local library and getting a book on figure drawing and using traditional paper and pencil to start. ![]() Can Marmoset hexel 2 guide me to the right steps when it comes to drawing? What I mean should I learn Hexel 2 first then go to manga studio or do I have it backwords? I want to get my feet wets so I can learn how to draw figures. May I clarify myself? I have no nature talent when it comes to drawing. ![]() Thank you Mr.MarmosetKen for answering some of My questions. When they found Hexels, it helped them rediscover their art interest because it allowed them to draw in a way that other programs don't provide. I've had a number of people tell me they used to draw when they were younger, but had trouble with modern art programs. Because it's based on a grid of shapes, instead of pixels, Hexels works very well for certain art styles and for the way some people think-myself included. Go ahead and download the trial here: I've heard a lot of good things about Manga Studio, although I've never used it myself. That said, if you're looking to do traditional comic/manga style-art that appears hand-drawn-Hexels might not be what you're looking for. Thanks for the question!
